I attended the NWC Diversity Event. To me, it was very entertaining. I honestly laughed the whole time. But I do think that it is a serious subject that shouldn't be taken lightly. The actors in this play did a great job taking the pressure off of everyone and making the atmosphere light and entertaining. Without that, I think the show would not have been a hit at all.
This event got me thinking about ways to go out of my comfort zone and make friends with the people of whom I never associate with. It just seemed that if everyone would do this, the world would be a much better place and people would get along very well! Also, it would do everybody good just learning to go out and make friends with people of a different race. Cause like the play stated we are the human race. It doesn't matter what race, we all are human.
With help from others, the people involved with NWC will be able to make the U.S. less diversified and acting as one group.
Very good tad I agree with you on all the stuff you said
ReplyDeleteI laughed on many occasions as well. I liked there approach to conveying a message. It was a really cool technique, because they seemed to get through to everyone in the audience that night.
